Review: Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser - My Highest Self

Review: Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser

For the past few months, I’ve had the worst skin of my life. The products I used to swear by just weren’t cutting it anymore, and I hated the look of my skin sans foundation.  When asking my readers for suggestions, a few of them mentioned the Biore line, so when Tina sent me over the Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser, I had high hopes.

biore ice cleanser review

Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser is is oil-free with 2% salicylic acid.  The product is clear and gel-like. I was skeptical because I thought it looked and felt too smooth to do any real cleaning. I’m used to cleansers that have more scrub-like qualities i.e. exfoliating beads. Half a pump is enough to lather and cover the entire face, and it does become foamy the more vigorously you rub your face.

When rinsing the product off of my face, it felt like a cool breeze was constantly fixed on me; it felt great. Although it didn’t dry out my skin as much as some other acne products I’ve tried, my face was left dry enough to be slightly uncomfortable, so I applied my normal lotion.

After about two weeks of using Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser now, I’ve seen a noticeable difference in my skin. The problem areas that I had when I first started using it have disappeared and my skin is slowly calming down. Although it’s not 100% blemish free, my skin looks so much better already.  Find Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser at retailers for around $7.99.

Have you tried Biore lately?

This is how I felt about everything I was giving a try, I tried a couple of high-end skincare products and most of my life drugstore/over the counter remedies. I recently bought the Michael Todd True Organics Acne/Oily/Sensitive Regimen because they do have a Acne/Oily regimen, but I felt the products in that line might break me out more or irritate my skin so I gave the one that caters more towards the sensitive skin types on top of being acne-prone and lemme say this is by far the only thing I’ve seen make a difference in as little a 10 days. I never stuck to any regimen for more than 2 weeks before I got tired or quit and went out to buy/try something else. I think that if you want permanent results you should give this skincare line a try. Michael Todd is Considered a High-End Brand, It Can Only Be Purchased online, but More Often than Not they Always have Promo Codes to get anywhere from 10%-30% Your Purchase. I also cleanse my skin with Mario Badescu’s Glycolic Foaming Cleanser (For All Skin Types) in Intervals of 2-3 times a week. This Mario Badescu cleanser is also a high-end product, it can be bought online or at your local Ulta Beauty, this the only thing product I own from the skincare line and is one of my favorite cleansers to use when I feel my skin feels clogged up or dull. I hope any of this I posted helps…Take Care!
