It’s a brand new year and most of us are trying to look at everything from a fresh perspective. The fresh perspective in women’s perfume from BOSS is Boss Ma Vie Eau de Parfum. The scent is meant to “capture the essence of a woman’s independent spirit and release the sensation of savoring life”. I can get on board with that! This is the third fragrance for women from BOSS. I featured BOSS NUIT and BOSS JOUR in the past and enjoyed both for their differences.
BOSS MA VIE is fragranced with Top Note of Cactus Blossom; Mid Notes of Freesia, Jasmine, and Rose; Base Note of Cedarwood. The pink floral mix carries this scent when I wear it. I thoroughly enjoy the dry-down of Cedarwood. It leaves me with a bit of that masculine scent that I love in a lot of my favorites men’s fragrances.
I love BOSS MA VIE because it is not too floral or sweet and it has a glorious dry-down scent that is right up my alley. The fresh citrus scent really just hints at the nose and certainly does not take over. In my humble opinion, I think all of the notes are perfectly balanced.
