One of my picks from JustFab this month is the Calvin boot in dark grey. In no uncertain terms I knew I loved this style AND this color. While I really like all my black boots, I knew it was time to add a grey pair and I like the distressed and more rugged look of these.
Note: I finally bought some studio lights and a backdrop and these are my first photos with my new setup! It already looks better than my usual outfit photos shot in my kitchen but I know I have lots of room for improvement :).
The zipper detail on the outside is just for show, these pull on and have a small zipper opening toward the bottom. The Calvin boot has more of a heel than a lot of my boots and I liked that as well. These are easy to pull on and fit with plenty of wiggle room making them perfect to wear with jeans. I think these boots would look really cute with a black dress and tights (if I could find something like that for myself).

I love your new boots! I would love to get a pair of grey boots, myself, but I spent so darn much on my new boots this fall but I’m barred from spending another cent (unless I find a great sale, and the price you mentioned is certainly affordable plus the discount). I usually can’t get a tall boot that I can fit my jeans into. I’ve been wearing bootcut jeans, and with my big calves from 30 years of jogging, I just can’t fit it all it! So I don’t buy tall boots anymore because you can’t see ’em. But I love those on you and they look great with the grey jeans. BTW, your new photo set up is very impressive. Some day, will you do a blogpost on where to buy and what you bought please? I know my photos are pathetic and I’ve gotta up my game one of these days.

JustFab actually has a wide calf option for a better fit, those would be great for you! Thanks for the compliments, I can definitely do a post like that in the future. I am always trying to improve I just wish I had taken the plunge about a year ago. Your photos are certainly NOT pathetic by the way!
Tina, those boots are lovely!! I just went to JustFab and unfortunately they are sold out in my size… I think I saw something kind of similar on their Twitter page not too long ago, but I forget the name. Do you know of something similar that I might be able to try?
