Crepe Erase Review - My Highest Self

Crepe Erase Review

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Crepe Erase. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Since turning 40 in March, I’ve begun to really get down to business with addressing the signs of aging on my skin.  I don’t mind my age, but I do care about looking older.  Areas like the neck, decolletage, elbows and knees have become less smooth and more “crepey”.  You may remember my post on my first impression of Crepe Erase?  If you missed it, be sure to head over and read the details on my thoughts after the first two weeks.  To recap on Crepe Erase it is a  2-step system that includes the Exfoliating Body Polish and the Intensive Body Repair Treatment.  The Crepe Erase system is formulated with the TruFirm™ triple complex of skin-restoring plant extracts.  The system sets out to target those stubborn signs of aging all over the body (that crepe-paper skin I mentioned) and leave skin smoother-looking and softer with the help of the TruFirm™ Complex.  I’ve now been using the system for more than 4 weeks and am happy to share my final review with you all!

Crepe Erase Review

Step 1 is the Crepe Erase Exfoliating Body Polish.  The body polish is meant to help visibly smooth and tighten that crepey skin that shows up on the neck, chest, legs and arms.  The TruFirm™ Complex helps to firm up the skin and restore the look of skin that is showing signs of aging.  For more than 4 weeks I have used the Exfoliating Body Polish as my last step in the shower every day.  I massage it into the skin in circular motions and I can feel the little round scrubbies doing their work.  I mainly focus on my elbows/elbow crease, knees, neck and chest.  Right away my skin felt softer and now after extended use, my skin loves this scrub!  I think a side bonus is that it really helps with exfoliation before shaving my legs also.  It is so gentle and effective on sloughing the dry skin and preparing my skin for Step 2.  I like that the ingredients list includes good stuff like Apple Fruit Extract, Dill Extract, and Olive Fruit Oil.  As mentioned before, this scrub is water-based so just as soon as you turn it upside down, product will start dispensing.  I recommend being very careful when dispensing product so you don’t waste any.  I think I’d like to see the Exfoliating Body Polish in a slightly larger size to match up with the size of Step 2.  I’m almost out of the body polish and have a ton of the Body Repair Treatment left.  I adore the light citrus fragrance in this Body Polish, it brings a luxury spa feel.

Step 2 is the Crepe Erase Intensive Body Repair Treatment.  This treatment is meant to plump and hydrate your crepey skin.  The TruFirm™ Complex in this second step helps to reinforce the firming and restoring abilities initiated by the Exfoliating Body Polish in Step 1.  For more than 4 weeks I have used the Intensive Body Repair Treatment after drying off from my shower every day.  I apply a small amount to those key areas, elbows/elbow crease, knees, neck and chest and massage in circular, upward motions.  Good ingredients in the Intensive Body Repair Treatment include Shea Butter, Cocoa Seed Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Fruit Oil, Apple Fruit Extract and more.  Again, the light citrus fragrance in this product is so lovely and spa-like.  While the product appears like a solid in the jar, it applies very smoothly and with the heat of my hand absorbs within seconds on the skin.  After 4 weeks, I absolutely love the effect of this treatment on my skin.  I have seen a marked improvement in the feel and look of my skin.  Each key area has shown improvement in that “crepey” skin look and feel very hydrated, and extra soft.  I found another bonus of the Intensive Body Repair Treatment:  I use a tiny dab all over the back of my hands and boy does it do wonders for the look and feel there as well!  The area where I personally saw the most improvement would be my knees.  I have provided a before and after photo showing the improvement in the look of my knees.

Overall, after using Crepe Erase for more than 4 weeks, I am pretty hooked on the system and personally enjoyed great results!  My skin now appears more firm and youthful and it’s a great feeling.  I feel good that I have a routine to improve the look of my aging skin.  Improving my skin equals more confidence for me.  More confidence over 40…YES PLEASE!
