After many years of cooking, I finally tried my hand at lasagna! I scoured the internet for inspiration, looking for the perfect lasagna recipe that would be easy for a first-timer and did not include a crazy-long list of ingredients. Oh! and I wanted to try a recipe that included ricotta cheese. I finally settled on the Easy Lasagna from AllRecipes.com.
While everyone has always told me that “lasagna is SO EASY to make” I think it does take some practice. You have to layer the ingredients and my top layer of noodles did not turn out the greatest. Some parts were quite crisp and I think next time I will do one less layer to be sure I have enough cheese to cover those top noodles.
This recipe also did not call for pre-cooking the noodles. I will say it tasted good but not great. I think next time I will try a recipe where you boil the noodles first and make your own sauce. I have really high hopes for my next attempt at lasagna!

This looks delicious! I have been saying for a while that I wanted to try and make lasagna from scratch but have always been intimidated and end up buying those gross frozen lasagnas, but I think Im going to try and make this for this coming week!!
