On April 28th we took the family to C2E2 Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo at McCormick Place. Ray is a collector of certain toys/comic book/movie stuff so I knew he would enjoy it. C2E2 is a fun event where lots of people wear costumes so Ruby wore her Supergirl costume and Ollie wore his Finn clothing (from Adventure Time). He is obsessed with this show and I have to admit it is beyond hilarious! See all our photos on Facebook.

Sunday, April 28th kids were free so that was the best day for us to go. There was a ton of kids activities going on the whole weekend. There were also autograph sessions, artist booths, and so much stuff for sale.

What a crowd!
We were not inclined to stand in line with two kids to get any autographs but we had a great time walking around and taking photos. It was fun rifling through the booths selling vintage toys, what a blast from the past. One of my favorite spots was the artist area where illustrators and painters were selling their items. I just love unique art!
All in all, it was a fun day that the whole family enjoyed. You should consider going to C2E2 next year if you are in the Chicago area. Be sure to check out all our photos from the day on Facebook!
