Final Thoughts on My July 2011 Birchbox Products

Another better-late-than never post, my final thoughts on the products from my July 2011 Birchbox:

Ahava Mineral Hand Cream – I was a bit disappointed that my second box had another lotion in it.  I have since changed my Birchbox Beauty Profile and hopefully I won’t receive any more lotions 🙂  I am UP TO HERE with a full stock of lotions at my house!  While I like new scents as much as the next girl, I have most recently been into body oils.  Anywho…all that aside, I do really love the fresh flower scent and the texture of this lotion.  It’s not greasy and I would almost call it a matte lotion.  Does that make sense?  It seems to matteify AND soften my hands which is just fine and dandy with me!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple One-Step Facial Cleanser – I was really excited to try this since I have never tried the Philosophy brand before.  This is an incredibly gently cleanser with really no scent.  I liked it just fine, but for regular use I need a facial cleanser that is geared more towards my oily skin.  I still use this once in a while, just for a change of pace.

Redken Shine Flash 02 –  This mist definitely did provide crazy shine to my hair when I sprayed it on after styling.  The only problem was the sour smell!  That is one thing that will not do well with me is a terrible scent.  Even though this spray shines my hair blind, I would not buy this due to the smell.  REMEMBER:  I am VERY sensitive to scents, so you many not  be bothered by this scent at all.

Zoya Touch Collection Nail Polish in Shay – This is a mini size bottle of polish that I was super excited to try, my first Zoya!  Read my full review with swatches here!

Kind Almond & Apricot Bar – Delicious!  This snack bar was so good and it has no preservatives!  I will be looking for these in the grocery store, I will definitely purchase these.
