Flower Beauty Color Play Creme Eyeshadow - Awesome Blossom - My Highest Self

Flower Beauty Color Play Creme Eyeshadow – Awesome Blossom

The third item I picked up from Flower Beauty at Walmart is the Color Play Creme Eyeshadow in Awesome Blossom.  Let me be honest and say I may have picked this color just for the name ;).  I ordered online so choosing a color was a roll of the dice anyway.  Did you miss my swatches of the Lip Service Lip Butters?

I just love the pretty packaging of Flower Beauty!

The Color Play Creme Eyeshadow in Awesome Blossom can change colors depending on how you look at it and how you wear it.  I think it mostly has a reddish/bronze look but it has coppery tones at times.

The product itself is very soft and silky and easy to build and blend.  I found this cream shadow to be much softer and creamier (less thick) than others that I own. I have worn Awesome Blossom with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance as a base and experienced no creasing or fading throughout the day.  I love the effect of wearing this shade alone or with other complementary shades.

On this day I wore a light wash of  Awesome Blossom all over the lid and a bit on the lower lash line.  I also used Verve from Urban Decay on the inner lid for highlight.

Overall, I am very pleased with Flower Beauty Color Play Creme Eyeshadow in Awesome Blossom!  I loved that this shade and the fact that it is so easy to apply and blend AND it stayed put on my lid.  When I find these in store I will definitely purchase more shades.  Flower Beauty is only available at Walmart stores and Walmart.com. I purchased this eyeshadow at Walmart.com for $7.98.

Product purchased by me.

Will you be trying anything from Flower Beauty?

Thanks for both of your reviews. I might try the rosy lip butter. I just bought their cream blush in Peach Blossom and love it. Usually I don’t like cream blushes because I find them impossible to apply without looking like a clown, but this one blends in easily and naturally and I didn’t even have my stippling brush on hand, I just used my fingers. Can’t comment on lasting power yet but love the color and texture.

I have to say the cream shadow above looks way lighter and pinker on your lids than in the jar or the swatch on your hand. It’s still pretty but I’d have never guessed they’re the same color.

I do love the quality of these products and they are easily blendable. I am light-handed when I apply eyeshadow and will typically blend it out so it’s not so “in your face”. The shade does change colors depending on the lighting also. Another reason why I love it! Thanks for your comment, I will have to try the cream blush.

So funny! Yes that’s exactly what I did not want to encounter looking for these. That’s why I bought them online right away. It just stinks trying to pick out shades.

Oh wow, this is such a cool product. It seems like there have been lots of affordable cream shadows coming out, which is amazing… but even moreso to have one that’s also cruelty-free! It looks lovely on you. This probably isn’t a shade I’d get though… even though I’d be tempted to, because it’s SO pretty, it’d probably make me look like I’ve been crying, as red toned shadows tend to do…

I love the new offerings in the drugstore too. Thanks for the compliment I know this shade is not for everyone :).
