Get in the Mood for Spring with Exude

Last year, I wrote about a new line of lipsticks that arrived on the market by the name of Exude.  Endorsed by the one and only Rachel Zoe, I found this innovative little lip product to be very interesting.

I currently have two additional products from Exude* that I’ve been testing out.  The lip product is housed in a clear plastic applicator in the traditional lipstick shape, with a small hole at the top that dispenses the Lip Creme or Lip Gloss.

Lip Gloss - Scarlet Red

I found that the Lip Gloss in Scarlet Red goes on smooth and has such a wet and juicy finish to it.  Perfect for a Spring look!  While it applies very pigmented, as it wears you’re left with just a bit of a lip stain and a sheer gloss.  There is a bit of sparkle but it’s pretty subtle.

I still enjoy this type of application method:  a little turn and the product comes out and I found it easy to spread over my lips evenly with no mess.  The dispenser tip has little nubs that give the sensation of a lip massage.  The nubs help with flow of the product for application, but an added bonus never hurt anyone.

The Lip Creme in Coral applied just as nice as the Lip Gloss.  The product felt soft on my lips and not drying at all.  There is a minty tingle with either product when applied.  The Lip Creme wears similarly to the Lip Gloss, very pigmented and then down to what looks like a gloss.  The Lip Creme also has some subtle sparkle, just like the Lip Gloss.  Coral is rumored to be the color of the year so again, perfect for Spring!

Exude* lipstick has 9 shades of Lip Creme  available and 5 shades of Lip Gloss  available on the website.  Both the Lip Creme and Lip Gloss are priced at $29.00 for a .09 fl oz size.

What’s your favorite lip product right now?  Are you into Coral for Spring/Summer?  Leave a comment and let me know what’s on your mind!

Those are very pretty shades of lipstick! The color is my favorite.

This looks really cool! I think it has taken the lipstick/lipgloss thing to the next level!

My favorite lip product at the moment is probably MAC Butterfly Dream layered over Sweetie (yes I’m cheating with two products). Sweetie is one of my all-time favorites (because it’s such a no-brainer), and I think Butterfly Dream plays so well with it!

    Thanks for sharing Tina!

I know, I really do like the applicator! So funny, I love layering too, it’s like creating a new lipstick every time.
