Giveaway Winners and a Peek at Some Goodies I Received!

Just wanted to say a formal congratulations to the two winners of our Purex giveaway, Krista S. and Jennifer A.!  Thanks to all who entered.

Next, I’m showing off a prize I received from Beso.  I think I read about this contest in an e-mail from them but can’t quite remember.  Anyway, it was a Twitter giveaway to the first 10 people that tweeted a certain message and I was one of the winners!  The prize was a new color from OPI, Thanks a Windmillion.  I received the nail polish, plus a very nice travel bag!

Last week, I received Simple Skincare products from SheSpeaks.  I have been a member of SheSpeaks for a short while and have had the opportunity to test a couple of different products for FREE and give my feedback.  If you are not a member, you should definitely join SheSpeaks, as it is a FREE program and is actually fun.  Once you sign up, just hop into the discussion boards and get into the conversation.  In my experience, the more active you are, the more opportunities you receive in these types of programs.

Anywho…I was chosen to test out Simple Skincare and received one product.  I was also a winner in a SheSpeaks Twitter party that I participated in and received a second Simple Skincare product plus a $25 Walgreens gift card!  I’ve been testing these out and will give my thoughts in an upcoming blog review.

Next up, I received a few sample products from Allure Experts.  I signed up for this panel a very long time ago.  They e-mail you surveys now and then and some have the possibility of receiving beauty products to try.  I finally qualified for one and was sent a sample set from Vichy!

Last, but not least, I picked up a couple of toners to try from Amazon.com.  I have not had a steady toner since I finished my Hydroxatone and have been missing it a little.  I have been wanting to try both The Body Shop brand and Zum Face, so I got both.

I love Amazon.com for it’s mass variety of products and brands available.  I feel like you can literally find anything on this site.

I will say it again and again:  Keep entering these contests, giveaways, and Twitter parties from brands.  People really do win, why shouldn’t it be you? 🙂 🙂

Let me know if you have signed up for any of these programs or if you have won anything lately.  Leave a comment, I’d love to hear about whatever is on your mind!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!

(I just realized the items in this post are mostly green, heee heee!)

Vichy products are amazing–I currently use their face wash, toner & moisturizer… I had tried a lot of different products for my problem-prone skin (its dry, oily, acne ridden, basically anything and everything) and it has really helped me even out (them and some prescription drug cream 😉 ).

Hi Ashley! Thanks for letting me know, I have had oily, acne-prone skin all my life and it’s only been these past few years that I have seen some relief. I hope these will work nicely on my skin!
