Recently, the family was invited out to an early weekend dinner at Chick-fil-A in Wheaton. We had never been to a Chick-fil-A before and really had no idea what to expect.
While Chick-fil-A is a quick service restaurant it had many special touches I did not expect. We experienced the most polite and helpful interactions with employees and quick service with food being brought to our table. Flowers on each table and mints in the restroom are two things I did not expect either! These are small touches but make an exceptional impression.
I chose the Chicken Caesar Cool Wrap and Chicken Tortilla Soup for my meal and absolutely loved it. Both items were restaurant quality!
Of course, I had to try the Waffle Potato Fries, they were impossible to resist. Fries are the one food item I will never give up and these were so yummy!
Ray chose the Spicy Chicken Sandwich Deluxe with Waffle Potato Fries for his meal. He was very impressed with the size, flavor, and freshness of his sandwich. I must say I was tempted to order this sandwich but I stayed true to my “eat healthier in 2013” plan.
Naturally, Ruby and Ollie both chose the Nuggets Kid’s Meal. At this age they are still chicken nugget fanatics! I really like that there are several healthy options on the menu as well.

The kids really enjoyed the play space inside the restaurant. We sat at our table watching them play for a while, relaxing after our dinner.
We treated the kids to a couple of old-fashioned milkshakes complete with whipped cream and a cherry. They were ecstatic! It’s the little things in life that really make it worthwhile :).
Overall, the whole family enjoyed visiting Chick-fil-A in Wheaton very much! With plenty of menu options for the whole family we all left happy and full. I was impressed with all the little touches that made this restaurant stand out from the rest of the quick service options. Chick-fil-A even serves breakfast and caters. Another great thing about this particular location in Wheaton is that it is right next to our favorite theater, Studio Movie Grill. We will definitely visit again soon! We have never been I am not sure if they even have Chick-fil-A in the Pacific Northwest. The food looks great!
