Recently, I was invited to attend an event at Icing on State Street in Chicago to celebrate their grand opening. I was so pleased to see all the fun (and inexpensive) jewelry, handbags, hair accessories, and more. You may have seen my #IcingStateStreet posts on Twitter and Instagram during the event!
Guests were treated to Swirlz cupcakes, cocktails and nail art by the infamous AstroWifey (Ashley)! I was so excited about sitting down with Ashley as I have read so much about her work. I could not have been happier with my nails when she was done!
Some of the trends I noticed at Icing were turquoise/tribal, nautical, pastels, lace, studs, bows, and more.
Basically, everything I took photos of is now on my Icing wish list! I actually went back there about a week ago with a friend and we picked up some jewelry and a few hair bows for Ruby. Icing will be a new favorite shopping destination for us I’m sure!
