Kylie Minogue – The Abbey Road Sessions #AbbeyRoadSessions

As a fan of Kylie Minogue, I was eager to review her latest album The Abbey Road Sessions.  Can I just tell you that Can’t Get You Out of My Head is one of my all-time favorite songs?  This album is all about reworking her previous songs from a 25 year career with an orchestra and truly reminds me of something from the 1940s. Very cool!  You can sample the album here on YouTube.

I absolutely LOVED this new version of Can’t Get You Out of My Head!  Second favorite from this album would have to be Locomotion.  Since these are both favorites of mine in their original version I was worried I wouldn’t like a new version.  I was totally wrong.  Kylie’s latest single Flower is a song she wrote several years ago following her battle with breast cancer, to the child she wishes she might one day still have.  It is so beautiful!

If you are a music lover but not a previous fan of Kylie Minogue my guess is that you would become a new fan if you listened to The Abbey Road Sessions.  Give it a try, I love it as background music when I am blogging.  She is a wonderful singer and this album really showcases the vocals.  The music is not too intrusive so it’s been great to hear while working.  Buy The Abbey Road Sessions on Amazon.

I participated in this campaign for One2One Network. I received a free copy of the CD to facilitate my review. By posting, I am eligible for incentives. All opinions stated are my own.

I know she looks radiant in that photo! She is a very strong woman from what I can tell, I hope she gets the child she has always wanted.
