L’Occitane Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette

l'occitane spring cherry review

Welcome Spring with the Limited Edition Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette from L’Occitane!  This is a new take on the classic L’Occitane Cherry Blossom fragrance.  I have not sniffed the original but I am loving Spring Cherry!

Spring Cherry has top notes of mandarin and blackcurrant, followed by a heart of floral cherry blossoms and magnolia, then a base of musk and woodsy notes.   It contains a cherry extract from the Luberon region of Provence.

The intention for Spring Cherry Eau de Toilette was to “capture the fresh and floral scent of the first days of spring in a Provencal cherry orchard, as butterflies flutter from blossom to blossom”.  I love when a company can set a tone for a fragrance and really deliver.  I can feel transported to France with just a few spritzes here and there!

Overall, L’Occitane has succeeded in creating a very fresh floral fragrance that captures the essence of Spring.  For me, Spring Cherry had good lasting power and I did not need a lot of reapplying throughout the day to keep the scent going.  I feel like this scent would also make a nice linen spray and/or room spray if you like that sort of thing.  usa.Loccitane.com, $42 for 1.7 fl oz.  Be sure to check out the complete Limited Edition Spring Cherry line including the cutest butterfly soap!
