Review: L'Occitane Verbena Fresh Shower Gel - My Highest Self

Review: L’Occitane Verbena Fresh Shower Gel

L’Occitane is a brand that has impressed me a number of times, so I now hold them to high standards. I have incorporated the L’Occitane Verbena Fresh Shower Gel into my routine and it has not let me down.

L’Occitane Verbena Fresh Shower Gel is infused with pearls which melt on contact  and release natural mint extract.  It’s a very nice cooling sensation!  A little goes a long way for a great lather.  I like that the opening on the bottle is very small and prevents waste.  The ingredients include essential oils of verbena, orange, geranium and lemon tree.  This gel is wonderfully moisturizing and so pleasingly scented.  The citrus fragrance is incredibly fresh and uplifting.  Even my bathroom is left with a lemon tree scent after I shower with L’Occitane Verbena Fresh!

The bad news is I can’t seem to find this on the L’Occitane site anymore :(.  The original Verbena Shower Gel (without the pearls) is available though: try the 2.5 fl oz for just $7.00 or larger sizes for $20 – $30.

Product received from PR for editorial consideration, all opinions expressed are my own.

Do you enjoy a fresh citrus scent in the shower?

Oh yes I bet you would! I like the small size for just $7 too.

I love L’Occitane’s shower gels. I used to use the pine rosemary (I think that was it, it was herbal in addition to pine) scented one that I got turned on to via a hotel sample. The Verveine would be right up my alley and would the Verbena. Next time I have some extra $ I’ll get one of these. I recently read an article that the little beads in beauty and personal care products don’t really go away but end up in rivers, streams and the ocean, and it’s made me hesitant to buy anything with microbeads but if these dissolve, it sounds good 🙂

Oh pine and rosemary sounds right up my alley! Yea these are soft and really do burst into liquid, maybe they mean those harsh srubbies? You would love this I think, it’s a nice splurge item.
