My Thoughts on Products Received in My Influenster VoxBox…

I wrote about joining Influenster a while back and showed all the complimentary products I received from the program in my Beauty VoxBox.  It does NOT COST A THING to join Influenster and the next box of products goes out (to qualified members) in August from what I understand.  Just wanted to give some of my thoughts on what was received:

Garden Botanika Lip Treatment:  This little baby really works!  It’s so hard to pinpoint exactly what this little dynamo does but all I know is I like the look and feel of my lips better now than I ever did before.  It seems like it smooths out any lines and dryness and even plumps a little.  This product is to be used 3 times a day.  Highly recommended.

Montagne Jennesse Green Tea Peel Off Masque:  I have used this brand of mask before, purchased from Ulta for around $2.00 each.  I am not really a fan of the “peel off” type of masks because I tend to get them into my hair and eyebrows and that gets messy and a bit annoying to pull off of those areas.  That’s exactly what happened here but that doesn’t change that the mask does the job of toning up the complexion.  I liked the result, it’s my fault for not being more careful spreading the mask on my face!  I will definitely buy this brand again!

Diamancel File:  This is a durable, diamond chip file designed to be used either as a nail file or foot file.  I don’t normally use a file on my nails since I feel like it does more damage than good.  I used this as a foot file and it worked out great.  It is indeed durable (also washable!) and does a great job of smoothing any rough spots.

I received the Pampered Plum scent and loved it!  I’m a fan of Softsoap and a fan of the foaming soaps in general, so this was a win-win.  I really liked the scent and it does all that a soap should do.  I would probably purchase this in the future.

This is an aloe-enriched shave cream in a rust-proof can.  I normally use a moisturizing shave gel so this did not live up to my moisturizing dreams.  It also did not have enough of a scent for my liking.  These days, even shaving can be an aromatherapy experience!  I will not be replacing my current brand with Pure Silk any time soon.

Meaningful Beauty by Cindy Crawford Skincare Kit:  This kit included cleanser, day creme, night creme, eye creme, chest & neck creme, masque, serum, and wrinkle smoothing capsules.  Unfortunately, I didn’t feel like this system was right for my skin.  I tend to be oily, acne-prone, and on the sensitive side.  The cleanser is intended to be used on dry skin without any water (which was odd right from the get-go) and it just did not help my skin at all.  What I did love:  The Deep Cleansing Masque does a great job of tightening skin and clearing pores.  The Lifting Eye Creme does a wonderful job of keep under-eye area taut.  The Firming Chest and Neck Creme also does a nice job of moisturizing the chest and neck and keeping skin taut and smooth.  If I could buy these products separately (they all come together in a set for $40), I would purchaese the Masque and Eye Creme for sure!

Did any of you become an Influenster?  If so, what did you think of the products?
