Lately, I have been testing out a couple of skincare products by Paula’s Choice. Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser and Skin Balancing Ultra-Sheer Daily Defense have been a part of my daily routine actually for a few months now! Right off the bat, you can tell that it works for my oily, acne-prone skin since I have been using it that long. Both products are part of the Skin Balancing System from Paula’s Choice. There are several different systems so you can choose the one that is best for your needs.
Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Oil-Reducing Cleanser is a creamy cleanser that produces a very light lather. I have been loving this cleanser because it absolutely reduces shine and oil and has kept my skin free of breakouts. It keeps my skin calm and seems to have reduced redness. I have consistently used it twice daily. You only need a small amount and after using it for about 3 months I still have about half the bottle left.
Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing Ultra-Sheer Daily Defense Broad Spectrum SPF 30 has a very watery texture making it a snap to sink into skin. It is meant to be a daytime moisturizer, so I use it once in the morning. With SPF 30 it keeps my skin protected from the sun but is amazing for my oily skin! What I love is that it does not add one bit of shine and is formulated with antioxidants which help repair sun damage. The ingredients include good stuff like aloe, green tea leaf extract, and willow bark extract – all great for oily skin.
Overall, I could not be happier with the results of these two products from the Paula’s Choice Skin Balancing System. These products will last a while so I don’t feel like the price is high at all. In fact, since these worked so well for me I feel it is a steal!
