Review: Annmarie Gianni Organic, Natural Skincare - My Highest Self

Review: Annmarie Gianni Organic, Natural Skincare

Having some wonderful results with natural and organic skincare in my recent past, I was ever so excited to try some samples from Annmarie Gianni’s* organic skincare line.  While I love the effects of natural products I think my probably my favorite detail about these items is the scent:  always fresh and brings thoughts of open fields, flowers, trees and all of nature that we forget about these days.  I think I always knew skincare should make you happy!

Aloe Herb Cleanser

The Aloe-Herb Cleanser is a gentle creamy type that is just heavenly on the skin.  Meant to be used morning and evening it is made with:

“Love, organic aloe vera juice infused with organic herbs (lavender flowers, calendula flowers, life everlasting flowers, hyssop, lemon balm, neem leaf, olive leaf, plantago leaf ); organic coconut oil; cocoglucoside (coconut oil & glycerine); organic vegetable glycerine; aspen bark extract; organic ruby grapefruit oil; organic lemon oil; organic green mandarin oil; xanthan gum; organic rosemary oleoresin.”

Don’t you just smile when you see that LOVE is the first ingredient??  I know I did!  Plus all the other delicious ingredients make for a sweet smelling, ever-so-gentle cleanser that does all the right things.  It cleanses, moisturizes, and soothes the skin.

Ayurvedic Facial Scrub

The Ayurvedic Facial Scrub is such a unique product, actually a powder that includes “an exotic blend of Indian herbs, Moroccan Rhassoul Clay and traditional herbal treatments. ” It is meant to be used 3 to 4 times a week , mixing a teaspoon of scrub with 2-3 pumps of  Aloe-Herb Cleanser and some water in the palm of your hand.  The Scrub is made with:

“Love, organic lavender flowers; organic fenugreek seed; rhassoul clay; organic rosemary leaves; organic lemon balm leaves; organic shavegrass (horsetail herb); organic neem leaves; organic comfrey root; organic lemon peel; honey powder.”

There’s that LOVE again!  As I said, this is such a unique product since I have never used an exfoliant found in powder form.  I so enjoyed the results of this scrub and cleanser together, and you need so little of the products it seems these will last a long while!  I’m not sure which of the ingredients in the scrub makes it smell like a delicious savory dish, but it does…so be it.  I can’t argue with natural ingredients, even if it makes me tempted to taste my scrub, haaaa!!!

Neroli Toning Mist

After these two lovely products have worked their magic, I followed with the Neroli Toning Mist to balance it all out and help with reducing the size of my pores.  I felt and saw this Toning Mist do it’s magic, love it!   The key ingredient is Neroli hydrosol, from orange blossoms.  It is supposed to be great for your skin and “will calm the subtle energies to balance your skin and your soul.   Neroli has historically been used as a mood enhancer, as something to calm the soul, and as an aphrodisiac.”  Groovy 🙂  I will not argue with any of these claims, I’m all for anything that will calm the soul!

I loved that this toner came in a spritzing bottle, perfectly dispensing this refreshing mist on my face.  The scent was amazing and really sends you into happy thoughts if you let it!

Overall, these were my favorites of the lovely samples I received* and I would bet any of the other products in the line work wonderfully, too!  I hope you will look into Annmarie Gianni Skincare as well, there’s so much to love!

Have you tried any of these products?  What’s your favorite natural skincare product?
