Review: Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads - My Highest Self

Review: Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads

Curious about the quickest method I’ve tried for effectively cleansing AND keeping breakouts at bay?  It has to be Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads!  I have tried some of the convenient pre-moistened cleansing pads on the market and most just don’t have enough “clean” in their cleansing!  I usually don’t feel like my face is totally clean and typically do not trust them to remove all of my face makeup.

The Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads are in a HUGE container and the round pads inside are very generously sized.  I do wish the container was a bit smaller since there seems to be a lot of room inside even with all of the pads in it.

The pads have the same hint of the light and fresh scent from this cleanser and moisturizer.  Each pad has a textured side and a smooth side.  I have been enjoying using these daily, first the textured side for exfoliation and removing all my face makeup, then the smooth side for good measure.  I really like that afterwards, my skin feels like I used a good scrub, very smooth.  These dual-textured pads come pre-moistened with cleanser, contain 0.5% Salicylic acid, and are self-foaming.

Textured Side

One pad removes all of my face makeup effectively, leaves my skin feeling clean (not dry), and helps prevent breakouts!  This is another product from Aveeno that I have been very happy with and would purchase in the future.

You can find Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads (around $6.49) at your favorite stores.

What do you think of convenient cleansing pads/wipes?

Hi Becca! I haven’t tried the Ultra Calming, I’ve been using the Clear Complexion foaming lately. If you try these, let me know what you think!

Let me know what you think if you try these, they are luxuriously large!

I haven’t tried theses. I normally put makeup remover on cottonball. I wonder if they will take off mascara and eyeliner effectively

I wouldn’t use these on the eyes, due to the salicylic acid. I have always used Almay oil-free makeup remover pads for eye makeup, they are the best!

I use cleansing pads all the time to remove my makeup before I wash my face. I have tried these before, and as much as I liked them (I’m lazy) they really didn’t do enough of the cleaning and exfoliating for me.

Sorry to hear these didn’t work out for you, what cleansing pads do you like?
