Review: Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Treatment Mask - My Highest Self

Review: Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Treatment Mask

Have you heard Burt’s Bees has a new line called Intense Hydration? The inspiration behind it is Clary Sage, a botanical that thrives in harsh environments.  I tried the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Treatment Mask, even brought it along to our pampering spa party.

This mask is different from any I have tried for a couple of reasons.  First, my skin is oily/acne-prone so I typically go for skin-clearing masks for weekly use.  I do realize that even though my skin is oily it still need moisture treatment from time to time, especially in colder weather.

Second, when you apply a thick layer of Treatment Mask all over the face, you remove it with a tissue, NOT WATER.  I left it on for 10 minutes, removed with a tissue, then massaged the remaining product into my skin as directed.  I can’t tell you how unusual this seemed to me but I did it anyway.  The remaining product absorbed into my skin within a couple of minutes like a good lotion.  The result:  very soft and you guessed it…intensely hydrated skin.  My mom also used this at our spa party and loved it as well.

The scent is very subtle and clean and reminds me a bit of another Burt’s Bees product I enjoyed.  The consistency is like that of a light lotion.  With ingredients like Clary Extract and Bitter Orange Peel, you can be proud to use a product that is 99% natural.  For my oily skin I use this just once a week and find that the results last well into the next day.  If you already have dry skin, I imagine you could use this two times a week.  Find the Intense Hydration Treatment Mask for around $18.00 at ULTA and several other retailers.  Be sure to check out the entire line of Intense Hydration products.

Product received from PR for review, all opinions expressed are my own.

Have you tried anything from the Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration line?

Yes, it was so different than anything I’ve tried before! So glad I followed directions because my skin felt so nice afterwards.

Ooo, I’d love to try this! Pamper oneself is crucial. I’ve tried Burt’s Bees balms but not anything else (yet).

Hi Natasha! Yes absolutely, someone with typically dry skin would really benefit from the entire line, in my opinion.
