Thanks to the Vogue Influencer Network, I received the new COVERGIRL NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara* to try! This mascara has a light touch of beeswax and claims to make your lashes “20% lighter than the most expensive mascara with 2X the volume of bare lashes.”
The mascara that I have been in love with for a while is COVERGIRL’s LashBlast Fusion. It has the rubbery fat wand with a ton of teensy bristles. It provides gorgeous volume and length and I pretty much use it every time I wear eye makeup. The NatureLuxe Mascara also has the rubbery wand but it is long and skinny with the teensy bristles.
The NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara in Very Black provides some volume and is good for length. The BEST part about this mascara is that it most definitely does feel much lighter on your lashes than other mascaras. It also washes off in just a swipe at the end of the day. No scrubbing and getting that raccoon ring around your eyes!
Overall, the NatureLuxe Mousse Mascara* does pretty darn well in the volume and length department but not as great as LashBlast Fusion. NatureLuxe is much lighter-feeling and easy to wash off. I would wear this for everyday for sure! When I’m in need of extra drama, I will use LashBlast Fusion.
