Review: Eau de Lacoste Eau de Parfum - My Highest Self

Review: Eau de Lacoste Eau de Parfum

Newly released Eau de Lacoste sets out to translate the iconic Lacoste reputation into a fragrance for women.  The scent is meant to be reminiscent of the feeling of pure, white cotton against the skin.  In other words, a clean and fresh fragrance…like simplicity in a bottle.

Eau de Lacoste Fragrance ReviewWhite pineapple, mandarin, and bergamot are the top notes, florals of Jasmine and more are mid notes, sandalwood and vanilla are among the dry-down notes.  While Eau de Lacoste leads with a personal favorite of bergamot, I really do smell the mandarin in this when first applied.  The fragrance is quite light, so by the time the dry notes hit I can’t really sense it on me.  I like this for just a hint of fragrance, nothing over-powering at all.  It is clean, crisp, and feminine all in one.  The bottle is perfectly suited to the brand, bearing the Lacoste crocodile we all know so well.
