Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - My Highest Self

Review: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I’ve continuously heard talk about micellar cleansing waters but never felt compelled to try them.  I guess I was a little hesitant to believe that a cleansing water could do the job.  I received Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to test and share my thoughts with you all.  I have now tried the original version as well as the version that removes even waterproof mascara.  Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water contains NO oil, NO alcohol, and NO fragrance.  They are dermatologist tested for safety, ophthalmologist tested, and non-comedogenic.

How to use Garnier Micellar Cleansing WaterGarnier Micellar Cleansing water is a “bi-phase cleanser that effectively removes makeup, cleanses and refreshes the skin.  The Micellar technology acts as a magnet to capture and lift dirt, oil and makeup with no harsh rubbing”.

All you have to do is saturate a cotton pad with the cleansing water and massage it over your face.  I have found that I love the feel of my skin after using Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water.  No need to rinse after.  I was surprised to find that there is no residue on the skin after use.  I enjoy using these to cleanse my face with minimal effort.  There is indeed NO harsh rubbing needed.  When I have a full face of makeup (foundation, eye makeup, etc.), I will use the blue version (that removes even waterproof mascara) to remove my eye makeup.  I only have to use one cotton pad for each eye with the blue version.  The original version certainly works well to remove a full face of makeup and eye makeup but I find I have to use several cotton pads.  I would actually recommend using the larger sized cotton pads to make it easier on yourself (I need to pick up some of those myself!).  I think I will be loving this even more in the Summer when my face needs refreshing after being outside wearing sunscreen, etc.
