Review: Oxygen Botanicals Skincare - My Highest Self

Review: Oxygen Botanicals Skincare

Recently, I had the opportunity to try a few samples from Oxygen Botanicals skincare, a line which has some unique qualities:  Here’s some info from their website:

“Oxygen Botanicals is the first skincare line infused with pure oxygen that is not chemically derived. Most oxygen product lines produce oxygen through a chemical reaction which can bleach skin and facial hair and dehydrate the skin. Oxygen Botanicals has developed a unique and proprietary process to encapsulate pure oxygen into catezome structures. Twelve different sizes of catezomes disperse oxygen and other nutrients into the skin at different intervals to provide a full 24 hours of effective, rejuvenating ingredients with only twice daily application. ”  Both professional and home-use products are sold on the website.

In my opinion, when products are also sold for professional use it would usually indicate a more effective result.  I found this to be true, especially with the two products I chose as my favorites.

The Specialty Foaming Gel Cleanser* ($19.64)  is a nice gel cleanser with a fresh (grapefruit?) scent that I first used on its own.

I used just a small amount and cleansed my face using my complexion brush, like I do with most cleansers.  It gave me great results:  A tingly, clean face and tighter skin afterwards.

The Exfoliant* ($22)  is a very thick paste, the kind where you turn the jar upside down and it doesn’t move!

It was suggested on the website to mix a bit of the Exfoliant with the Gel Cleanser and use the two together.  I did that the first time I used it and never looked back.  This combo is amazing!  The Exfoliant mixed in well the Cleanser and the two provided truly the most effective exfoliant that I’ve ever used that did not cause any adverse effects.  I was a bit in shock, I thought I would see some redness or irritation just because the Exfoliant is so thick, but it went super well and I used this combo twice a week for nice glowy skin.

So, it seems that the pure oxygen process used in the Oxygen Botanicals line really worked for me!  Check out Oxygen Botanicals and see if it will work for you too.
