Way back in my first month of blogging, I mentioned that I had been using a St. Ives Olive Oil cleanser. I had a hard time finding it in stores so I had to switch and try something new. From there I had not tried anything from St. Ives again until a couple of weeks ago. I was eager to see how the St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser & Scrub would work for me!
The St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser is hypoallergenic, oil-free, non-comedogenic, and has 2% Salicylic Acid. Sounds good for my oily, acne-prone skin! Since it is a more watery liquid cleanser I had the best result using it without a lot of water on my face. With just a splash of water, the cleanser had a nice foam and was more apt to penetrate my pores. I love the green tea scent AND the touch of cooling sensation that your skin feels afterward. This cleanser is gentle enough for me to use two times a day.
The St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Scrub is also hypoallergenic, oil-free, non-comedogenic, and has 1% Salicylic Acid. It is also made with 100% naturally derived exfoliants and includes ingredients like kaolin and olive leaf extract. This medium consistency scrub is full of little scrubbing beads that do a great job of cleansing the skin, fighting blemishes, and leaving the skin feeling soft. I do wish this scrub had slightly less scrubbing beads as it takes a some elbow grease to rinse it all off. It has the same green tea scent as the cleanser, of course! Very fresh. This scrub is gentle enough to use daily but I used it every other day in place of the cleanser and that worked very well for me.
I would love to see a facial moisturizer from St. Ives to complete this Naturally Clear line. I used my recent favorite moisturizer with this cleanser and scrub and they complemented each other well.
Overall, I found the St. Ives Naturally Clear Green Tea Cleanser & Scrub to be a very nice duo, great for keeping my oily skin blemish-free, both gentle, non-irritating, and very inexpensive! You can find the St. Ives Cleanser & Scrub for around $5.99 each at ULTA and Walgreens.

Have you tried the St. Ives brand lately?
I started using St. Ives apricot scrub years ago and like it very much. This sounds like a good one as well.
