When I found the Swell Skin* website, the first click was on “My Story”. I usually migrate there first to find out who is involved and how they got involved… it’s what I do. Kelli Klus is the “who” and she states her mission as “everyday try to make a connection with someone”. This really spoke to me as it is such a small but meaningful mission that we all could use. Sometimes you have no idea what a little connecting (a smile?) can do for someone. Kelli also donates a percentage of her profits to help abused children which I think is wonderful. She already made me smile :).
Kelli was very generous and sent me her Face Treatment and Face Oil, packaged oh-so-lovely! The Face Treatment is a bar soap with Sea Buckthorn oil that is so good to your face, you won’t believe it! I have not used a BAR of soap since my days of using the Clinique line back in 1996, I believe!!

The Face Oil is 100% pure Sea Buckthorn oil. I used both products together and the results were fantastic.
Face Oil
It goes against all we are taught: don’t use bar soap, no oils!! The Sea Buckthorn oil helps your redness, blotchiness, and pimples right away. It will also plump up your skin with moisture allowing you to see some improvement in any fine lines on your face. Using these two products cleared and smoothed pores on my face that I haven’t seen for many, many years. No joke. I wrote Kelli an e-mail telling her that I could not stop looking at my cheekbone area since it now looks airbrushed! My clean face, with no makeup, looks pore-free for the first time in my life. For an acne-prone woman who has battled pimples and clogged pores for my whole life, this is quite a statement. Thank you, Kelli Klus, for developing such Swell products!!
