Review: The Socializer by Elizabeth Grant - My Highest Self

Review: The Socializer by Elizabeth Grant

Being a fan of any product that can help the under-eye area, I was more than happy to try out The Socializer from Elizabeth Grant* ($40).  This product consists of two “clicker” pens, Bright Lights (for day) and Late Nights (for night), both stored in an adorable tube that’s beautifully decorated.  I love how this looks just sitting out with all of my other beauty products!

Open the tube to find the two pens:

Here’s a look at the applicator brush:

Bright Lights* is to be applied in daytime after cleansing with 2-3 clicks under your eye and massaged in.  Late Nights* is applied at night after cleansing, also using 2-3 clicks under your eye and massaged in.  I had a love-hate relationship with the “clicker” on these pens.  It is a bit unpredictable on how much product will come out with 3 clicks, sometimes you need more clicks, sometimes you don’t.  I liked the brush for applying on the under-eye area, though.  My least favorite thing about the “clicker” is that you have no way of knowing when you are getting close to running out of the product.

I did find use of both the Bright Lights and Late Nights provided some relief from puffy eyes but not necessarily from dark circles.  These pens were good prep for putting on your concealer and the rest of your makeup.  I believe they do help those products do an even better job for you.  I found when using both pens every day I did notice a difference in a smoother look around my eyes.

Overall, I like the look and the concept of the product but still can’t decide if I love or hate the “clicker” pen applicators.  I do feel using both pens do a good job of helping out a tired woman on not looking so tired!

Have you tried The Socializer?  If so, what’s your opinion?
