Revlon Starry Pink Nail Enamel is a Beauty... - My Highest Self

Revlon Starry Pink Nail Enamel is a Beauty…

On my last Target trip, I picked up Revlon Starry Pink Nail Enamel, one of Revlon’s latest. I’ve been seeing it on all my favorite blogs and really loved it.

Can you believe before this, I think I owned maybe one Revlon polish?  I did a full manicure with Starry Pink over the last weekend.  The formula was very thin and there are two sizes of silver glitter in this pink (seems lilac to me) polish.  These photos show 3 coats of Starry Pink and one top coat of Seche Vite.  Side Note:  I finally purchased the Seche Vite top coat at Sally Beauty Supply.  I can now say that everyone who would like the look and feel of a professional manicure should buy this.  Seriously, it makes an incredible difference.

The funny thing is, when I first put this on I didn’t like it as much as I thought.  But in another 24 hours, I was seeing it in a new light and ended up really loving it.  I’m glad I don’t blog hastily because if I had blogged about this on the first day I would be telling you all how I really didn’t like Starry Pink.

Overall, Revlon Starry Pink is a very pretty polish to have in your collection.  While the formula was very thin, there were no problems with application, I just needed 3 coats to keep my satisfied.  Don’t forget the Seche Vite Top Coat, I’m preaching…it is truly amazing.

Do you own Revlon Starry Pink?  What’s on your nails these days?  Leave a comment and let me know all your manicure secrets, I’d love to hear from you 🙂

I love this color!! It’s one of my faves! I just discovered that the bottle I got is almost empty and I have only done one mani with it. I definitely need a new bottle. Mine isn’t thin at all, I only needed one coat for coverage… maybe because I got a bottle that was nearly empty and a little dried out. Revlon now has a color called Popular that looks exactly like Starry Pink. Did you get Whimsical? It’s like Starry Pink but a milky blue base and pastel glitters *love*

Hi Jackie! I was so surprised that it took me a bit to like this but now love it. I have been seeing Whimsical on other blogs and I think I will probably buy it when I see it. I’m going to look up Popular now, do you have both Popular and Whimsical?

I don’t know why I didn’t like it at first but overnight something clicked! How often do you paint your nails?

Depends on the season and my mood. I paint them frequently in the wintertime and a lot less in summer (gardening, blah, blah, blah….) But my toesies are almost always painted, regardless of season. 🙂

I love so many Revlon products! I’ll have to try this polish out and the top coat–I’ve been reading great things about it.
Right now my nails are bare 🙁 I did have them painted with Essie’s Forever Yummy earlier this week, but it was chipping. Sometimes my nails deserve a break, but I do feel prettier with them painted.

You are so right, I do feel prettier with painted nails. They are so distracting though, I’m always looking at them!! I saw a few Essie polishes they have coming out for Spring and they look gorgeous, there’s a bright fuchsia one that is calling my name.
