Swatch & Review: China Glaze Metro Collection – Westside Warrior & Street Chic

Hope you are all having a great day! I’m feeling great today, as yesterday I had the opportunity to help someone I did not know and also someone who is close to me.  Putting a little effort into helping others can truly go a long way.  You really never know what the smallest thing can do for someone until you try.  So, today I am all smiles 🙂 🙂

Aside from all that, I’m pleased to show you swatches of Westside Warrior* and Street Chic* (See Concrete Catwalk here), all from the China Glaze* Metro Collection.  All photos are with one Orly base coat, three coats of polish, no top coat.

My favorite of the these shades is Street Chic.  It’s described as a beige creme but it’s seems more mocha-like to me.  There is something about a mocha shade that I am drawn to, maybe it’s my love of coffee and all things coffee-related!  I don’t know but it turned out to be the one I favored the most.

The formula on these two shades is very different from Concrete Catwalk.  Both Westside Warrior & Street Chic are a thinner formula compared to Concrete Catwalk, which was quite thick.  However, after the second coat both were looking almost opaque.  After three coats, Westside Warrior and Street Chic were glossy, opaque, and gorgeous!

I will be putting these shades in heavy rotation, great colors for Fall!  What is your favorite polish for Fall?  Leave a comment, I’d love to know more about it!

OOO grungy colors! They remind me of Dior Amazonia and Bengale from last autumn. I’m not in the mood for them yet, but when the weather cools down I’m pretty sure I will be 😉
