Swatch & Review: Cos Bar Limited Edition Nail Polish from The Shops at Target - My Highest Self

Swatch & Review: Cos Bar Limited Edition Nail Polish from The Shops at Target

When I heard about The Shops at Target, I knew I wanted to check out the beauty items from Cos Bar.  The display of Cos Bar items at my Target was so small I almost didn’t find it!  The four shades of nail polish caught my eye right away and were only $3.00 for each .33 fl oz bottle.  There are no color names on the bottles, only numbers.  These were all quick to dry, which I love.

I would call this color Chartreuse, the number on the bottle is 1527.  This is my most favorite shade of these four, I’m wearing a full manicure of this one right now!  I just love how bright and shiny it is, perfect for Summer.  I used 3 coats for this one and you can still see my nail at times but I liked the formula.

Next is a Brown Shimmer (the number on the bottle is 1529).  This one reminds me of Buried Alive from the Orly Dark Shadows Collection!  I used 2 coats for these photos and it covered nicely.

Third in line is a Light Purple (number on the bottle is 1526).  This one is super-sheer and required 3 coats to look even remotely opaque.  You can definitely still see my nail even after 3 coats.  I like the final look of this one though, especially in the sunlight as it does change color just a bit!

Last, but certainly not least, is what I would call a Burnt Orange (number on the bottle is 1528).  I used 2 coats for great coverage on this one and I love it!  Another nice bright and shimmery color for the Summer :).

Overall, I am very happy with the nail polish from Cos Bar at Target!  I really liked all of the colors and the quality is good, especially with a $3.00 price tag.  If you want to purchase these you better hurry, The Shops at Target are only available until June 16 at Target stores and Target.com.

Did you purchase any Cos Bar items at Target?  What do you think of these colors?
