Swatch & Review: L'Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation - My Highest Self

Swatch & Review: L’Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation

L'oreal Lumi Cusion ReviewA while back, I posted my first impressions on wearing L’Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation on Snapchat (add me: myhighestself).  Today I’m sharing some swatches and my full review for you!  These type of liquid foundations in a “cushion” format seem to be popping up all over the place.  First, L’Oreal seems to have a good amount of shades available, 12 to be exact.  The concept of this foundation is that it is easily buildable.  You use the sponge to tap the cushion: 1 tap:  sheer coverage / 2 taps:  light coverage / 3 taps:  medium coverage.  I have to agree, it really is that simple!

How to use Cushion Foundation

While the small sponge was a bit of a challenge to keep in my hand (it kept slipping off of my fingers), tapping on my foundation was a breeze.  I found that I loved the coverage L’Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation provided.  The shade N5.5 was a good shade match for me, covering my redness and evening out my skintone quite well.  I found the coverage to be smooth and it was easy to add a little more where needed, just tap, tap, tap!  I tested it without any powder product on top and it lasted well for 8 hours with not much shine coming through.  Impressive for my oily skin.

L’Oreal Lumi Cushion Foundation was a real win for me and it is great for all skin types.  The fresh, natural, luminous finish is just what I have been looking for.  With such an easy application method, this will be so perfect for Summer!

Product received from PR for editorial consideration, all opinions expressed are my own.

Have you tried L’Oreal Lumi Cushion yet?  If so, what did you think?
