Revolution Organics* makes their lip gloss with 100% natural and 85% certified organic ingredients. The formula is free of chemicals, mineral oil, petroleum, artificial ingredients and parabens. With ingredients like olive oil and shea butter, these glosses feel divine on the lips! I found them to be outstanding in the moisture department. Not too shabby in their staying power, either.

Unfortunately, I found it difficult to get product onto the applicator for some reason, no matter how I dipped it (or how many times). The only guess I can make is that the gloss packaging itself was very thin and there just was not enough room to move the applicator around in there. Once I did get the gloss on, these were a bit lacking in color payoff. The brightest color, Freedom (true strawberry red) applied very uneven and I could not get good coverage. Vibe (fresh warm peach) and Truth (sheer true pink) applied evenly but were short on color payoff. Both Integrity (shimmering golden rose) and Innocent (soft baby pink) were the glosses that I would wear again as they have shimmer and are shades that I always favor.

I would consider these ultra-moisturizing glosses great for the girl who is not looking for saturated color but just a bit of sheer gloss. What I did absolutely love, is the feel of all of these glosses on my lips, they were a dream to wear, not sticky and provided a sheer wash of color in most cases. that’s a shame to hear that their colour pay-off is not really that great! Been looking for a natural one that has a good pigment! However, the colours in the tube look very pretty.

Hi Asti, the company actually had an issue with the applicators not picking up enough gloss and have since changed them. These are fairly sheer though but such a nice feel!
