tarte Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector’s Set #tartesweetdreams

The tarte Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector’s Set is part of the tarte Sweet Dreams Holiday Collection for 2014.  It is exclusive to ULTA and includes four palettes that you can change out in the cute compact in this set.  What’s inside: 16 French-inspired Amazonian Clay Eyeshadows, 4 Amazonian Clay 12-hour Blushes, 3 Deluxe Maracuja Lipglosses, 1 Deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes 4-in-1 Mascara, 1 Portable Collector’s Compact.

I instantly fell in love with that little pearly palette, it is so pretty!  The eyeshadow and blush palettes are so easy to pop in and out and throw in your purse for touch-ups.

I really like that there is a mix of shimmer & mattes in this set.   Of course, I LOVE my shimmers so all of those are definitely favorites, but the mattes are really nice.  All swatched well and blend well on the eye.

I would say the third and fourth palettes above would be my favorites of this bunch.  Palette number two comes in a close second and palette number one is my least fave.  The shades are so me and I could easily wear these for every day or a night out.

L to R:  Lipglosses: paris, cannes, nice

The glosses have a bit of a minty scent but no real taste and are not sticky.  The brush applicator was awfully stiff and pointy, though.  I would say cannes is my favorite shade as it has a hint of shimmer.

The lights, camera, lashes mascara if pretty awesome.  It feel so light on the lashes and really comes through with length and volume!  I would re-purchase this once finished.

Overall, I am pretty thrilled with the tarte Away Oui Go set for its large selection of eyeshadows and blush as well as adorable palette and a great mascara.  I like the glosses but the stiff brushes really put me off.  Find it exclusively at ULTA, $48.
