This month has brought a few great things my way already! You may remember from this post, that I entered a sweepstakes to win a $100 Talbots gift card from the Vogue Influencer Network. I found out that I actually won and received my gift card yesterday!
Guess who’s going to be shopping this week? I’m super excited to get some new clothes and shop a retailer that I have never been to before. It has been beyond incredible to be a part of the Vogue Influencer Network!
A couple of weeks ago, I won a gift from Ulta on Twitter. I received this gift in the mail recently:
Of course, I will post a review when I have had a chance to try this nice little pampering gift.
I also won a gift from Walgreens on Twitter too, but I’m not exactly sure what it is and haven’t received it yet! I’m telling you these things not just to toot my own horn but to let you know that people do win these things. You just have to get involved! If you are not on Twitter, then I advise you to get going on it. I find Twitter to be an excellent resource to find new blogs, meet like-minded people, find out about new products, gain new blog followers, and WIN STUFF. Remember when I won these bangles on Twitter?
Oh! I also won this Perfect BB SPF40 from 3LAB Skincare (retail: $95.00) in late November:

I don’t know that I have grasped how to wear this yet, or if I even “get” BB creams at all but I have been giving it a go! A review is possibly coming soon, we’ll see.

Whenever I’m at Nordstroms replenishing my Kiels products, I always ask them to throw in a few 3 Lab samples!

Oh, boy! Those are tough decisions . . . I do like the convenience of online shopping — not to mention the fabulous deals they offer that often aren’t valid for in-store purchase–though, the let down of receiving a much-anticipated shipment of clothes, only to realize 1 out of 5 things fit, is dismally disappointing 🙁 Unless it’s shoes or accessories, in-store is usually the way I go. I have funky proportions, though. If I live to see the day when a pair of jeans fits perfectly, that is the day I will seek out the highest mountaintop and declare my joy with their world. 🙂
Kiels is such a great line! I honestly think you can’t go wrong with anything you purchase. *Also, if you have a boyfriend/husband, the men’s line is just as wonderful. I have my Hubs well-stocked 🙂 For me, the Midnight Recovery Oil is just amazing. The decadency lasts all night and you wake up literally glowing. LOL. I also recommend their line-reducing serum, and oil-free moisturizer. 🙂
