With two small kids running around all day (and a lot of nights too!), I get pretty exhausted and my face will show it. This past year I have had a real interest in eye creams to combat my fancy new fine lines and dark circles around my eyes! Can I look just a LITTLE less tired…please??
For about the past month, I’ve been using Mindi Walters Wide Awake Caffeine Eye Crème and am just over the moon about it! I discovered this product while watching Chelsea Lately, which is probably my favorite show of all time, hosted by my favorite woman of all time, Chelsea Handler.
She, quite literally, flashed the Caffeine Eye Crème on screen and quickly rattled off that she uses it and it’s made by her friend Mindi Walters. Of course, I took a mental note and looked it up the very next day, just dying to try something that Chelsea Handler would endorse. I found out that Mindi Walters is an esthetician and now has plenty of celebrity clients on her client list.
After struggling a bit on exactly the right way to apply this cream, I settled on dabbing and then lightly massaging into my under-eye area and out to the side where my crow’s feet show up. I’d say after about the first week, I saw a real noticeable difference in how my eyes looked. Most noteably, the skin is now taut and there are no bags or puffiness! After about 4 weeks of using this every night, I am loving the fresh look I have every day. I have noticeably less appearance of fine lines, circles, and no bags under my eyes. Some important details: it’s safe for all skin types, oil-free, paraben-free, and uses ingredients like watermelon and mango extract. The caffeine is the wonder ingredient (in my opinion) and for me has lived up to the promise of promoting lifting and firming of the skin.
I can’t stress enough what the effects of this Caffeine Eye Crème has done for my face when I wear makeup! I no longer see foundation caking in the creases and I have less to conceal in the undereye area. This is a must-have for anyone who wants to have firmer, smoother skin around the eyes.
