A Balanced Lifestyle with Help from Walmart - My Highest Self

A Balanced Lifestyle with Help from Walmart

CB Disclosure

Before the new year hit, I already knew that I wanted to make a few changes to improve my life.  Last year, it was a bit of a free-for-all when it came to food.  I really just ate whatever…whenever.  This year (and after that) I intend to eat with a more balanced lifestyle in mind.  Lean Cuisine and a few other brands from Walmart can help me with that plan!

I have actually been buying Lean Cuisine meals weekly for a few years now.  Old favorites like Sesame Chicken have gotten me through many busy days as a mom.  I am pretty psyched about new meals like these awesome Three Cheese & Spinach Pretzels, they are SO good!

What I love about Lean Cuisine is that each meal is just the right portion so I don’t even have a chance to over-do it at meal time.  This year, I want to incorporate Lean Cuisine into dinner time in addition to lunch.  I’m thinking if I can replace a large portion, high calorie dinner with a Lean Cuisine item a few times a week, it will be a good thing.  I also just learned about the Walmart Lean Cuisine Feel Great Money Back Guarantee:  Buy 10 Lean Cuisine items and if you are not satisfied, get your money back!  Sounds like they are confident in their products.

I am a coffee and Coffee-Mate fanatic (did you see my fridge?) and am aware that my sugar intake can be over-the-top.  An adjustment is needed but I am NOT willing to give up my flavored creamers.  Just, no.  I can easily switch to Sugar Free Coffee-Mate and I won’t miss any of the flavor in my daily coffee.

Walmart always has a great selection of Coffee-Mate creamers with several sugar free options.

The last piece of the puzzle in helping to get my meals more balanced is finding a low-calorie sweet treat.  Loading up a bowl full of ice cream just won’t work for my lifestyle goals.  After discovering Skinny Cow Divine Chocolates, I now have an alternative when I get a sweet attack.

I mean can you believe this little 3-pack of peanut butter and chocolate candy is just 130 calories?  Let me tell you these are delicious and I don’t go around praising just any old candy!  #WowThatsGood

Overall, I am looking forward to incorporating these small but important changes in my diet.  It’s good to know that all these items are easily accessible at Walmart, too.

This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for #CollectiveBias and its advertiser.

Are you making any lifestyle changes this year?  I’d love to hear more about them!

Those spinach stuffed pretzels are one of my favorites! I just got done trying Lean Cusine for 10 days, and claimed my free frozen Skinny Cow snack!

I loved those Skinny Cow chocolates I got in my Influenster box. Those will be a repeat buy. And my fave busy night dinners from LC are tortilla crusted fish, lemon chicken and I love their garlic spring rolls when I need a more substantial snack for only 200 calories 🙂

Hi Victoria! I know it can be tough to change the way you eat, try baby steps to get there! Coffee and coffee-related drinks are my weakness and they are usually loaded with sugar. I’m really going to make extra efforts to make these changes. PS You HAVE to try the Skinny Cow chocolates, they are yummy!!
