Since I have an (almost) life-long coffee obsession, a sunscreen that boasts Kona coffee bronzer as an ingredient has my attention. Australian Gold SPF 15 Lotion Sunscreen with Instant Bronzer is a nice lotion that I use a few days a week. With only SPF 15, it’s not something I would use every day because I really do worry about the harm that the sun can cause. On the flip side, I like a tan look on my arms. I would LOVE a tan on my legs too but that just never seems to happen. I swear my legs repel the sun!
This lotion from Australian Gold has a more watery consistency and that means it sinks into skin fast for me. You can enjoy a (light) but immediate bronze glow on the skin after application. While I really enjoy the scent of the lotion (sort of tropical, not too floral but fresh) I was SO hoping that it would have a light coffee scent! No big deal but it would have been a nice touch for a coffee-lover like me. I like that the ingredients include things like Green Tea Leaf Extract, Sunflower Seed Oil, Tea Tree Leaf Extract and more. It has a nice feel on the skin and allows me to get some color a few days a week. I will have to pick up the SPF 50 variety so I can use this every day!
