That’s right…another new beauty sample subscription just launched! For $15 a month, you get samples (hair care, makeup, skin care and fragrance) PLUS a subscription to Allure magazine! I received the e-mail just this morning, here’s the info from Beauty Bar and Allure:
A Sample Society membership introduces consumers to the latest trends and innovations in beauty through sampling. As members, customers receive the following every month:
For $15 a month, you’ll receive:
- Five deluxe-size samples from premium brands such as By Murad, Stila, Dermalogica, Fekkai Advanced, and Bond No. 9. Samples are deluxe-size, meaning they are intended for more than one use, allowing customers to truly experience and test products’ efficacy.
- Original content written by Allure editors with each month’s samples, giving the customer relevant expert information that can optimize her experience and ultimately help her make purchase decisions.
- $15 gift code to redeem on a $50 purchase – when any product from the brands you’ve sampled is included in your order.
- A bonus one-year subscription to Allure magazine ($12 value)
What do we think of Sample Society? Will you hop on the bandwagon and subscribe to this one? Oh, I guess I’ll be the guinea pig and give it a try, I’m definitely being lured in by the free subscription to Allure magazine! Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
I also received the email invite and joined yesterday. I have my fingers crossed on this one. lol
you’re**
This seems pretty cool!! I’ve never heard of these.. and I was just scrolling through your recent posts.. do lots of companies do these sorts of things? Do you enjoy the other ones your a member of?
I liked Birchbox for a while, may go back later in the year. It seems these subscriptions are popping up all the time now! It’s great for consumers because there are now plenty of choices. I may sign up for Sample Society since I like the idea of the free Allure subscription. Do you think you will sign up for any of these?
Hmm, I may in the future, they seem really cool. But unless they are free my grad school budget and time might not allow for them right now! But I am glad to find out about them! This is definitely something I think I’d be interested in in the future! 🙂
Well, if it’s FREE you want check out my post “Host a Benefit House Party”, that program is totally free!
Hoppin on the bandwagon! LOL
Really, it’s for research. I swear. *giggle*
Oh yeah…research!! Love it 🙂 I’m kind of excited about this one!
