Becca One Perfecting Brush #BeccaTheOne - My Highest Self

Becca One Perfecting Brush #BeccaTheOne

I received the Becca One Perfecting Brush through my membership in iFabbo and have now had the chance to give it several tries .  This makeup brush is unique and sets out to “cut makeup application in half” by replacing all of your other makeup brushes for the face.

Becca Brush ReviewThe Becca One Perfecting Brush can be used with liquids, creams, powders and all other formulas.  Made of non-porous goat hair the bristles allow product to sit on top instead of absorbing into the brush.  No product waste!  It’s a large size brush at 3.5 inches in horizontal size.

Becca One Perfecting Brush Review

I thoroughly enjoy using this brush to apply my foundation and it does provide a beautifully airbrushed look compared to my other foundation brushes.  The brush feels very soft gliding over my skin.  I did have an issue using the brush with powders on my cheek area, it seems to really make my skin look flaky in an instant.  It would also take some getting used to for me to use this as the ONLY brush for all my face products.  The thought of mixing all of those products, cream, powder, etc. all on the same brush and then all over my face just makes me cringe a bit.  I like to keep things a little more separate than that.

Overall, I LOVE the Becca One Perfecting Brush for applying my foundation as it gives a beautiful air-brushed effect.  I won’t be replacing all of my face brushes for this one brush, though.  Sephora, $49

I received this product compliments of iFabbo, all opinions are my own.

I really wanted to try this brush but unfortunately it never made it into my iFabbo shop, boo hoo. I’m over it now, lol. I was interested in it for contouring, highlighting, though I was curious about how it worked with liquid/cream foundation, and I like your description of an air brushed look. very nice. The other thing was the ease of cleaning. I need to invest in some brush cleaner. It takes forever to clean the BB/CC cream out of my synthetic foundation brush. The thing that throws me, just from looking at the photos, is its width. I think it looks hard to manipulate, but it doesn’t sound like you had any problems 🙂

From what I understand it WILL eventually make it to everyone’s shop! I just use the Sephora brush shampoo for deep cleaning and then I have another spray (from ULTA maybe??) for quick cleaning brushes. It’s not hard to use at all, it’s very light weight and basically I just think of it as a paintbrush. That’s how I think of all my foundation brushes :).

I know I just couldn’t do it. I read a review on Sephora that said she never cleans it, just wipes it with her hair towel after every use and it’s good to go??? Um, no.
