A Powerful Clean with Cascade Platinum Pacs

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

When it comes to using a dishwasher, all too often it seems that dishes are typically pre-washed and still come out with streaks or film.  I had the chance to test Cascade Platinum Pacs for the dishwasher to see how it might deliver better results than our typical product.

I tested Cascade Platinum without pre-rinsing any dishes to see if it really could deliver the most powerful clean and eliminate the need for pre-rinsing.  It’s a shame what we put up with if we don’t know any better.  If we have a dishwashing appliance why should we have to wash BEFORE we wash just because our detergent does not do its job?

I am happy to report I was quite impressed with the quality of clean in everything from wine glasses to pots and pans!  Cascade Platinum Pacs managed to outshine our previous product and you can see the results in the photo below:

On the left is a glass from the cabinet washed with our previous product.  On the right is a glass washed with Cascade Platinum Pacs.  You can see the one on the left still has spots and the one on the right is clear!

I wish I had taken a photo of the dishwasher door before I ran the cycle.  But, from this photo you can see that Cascade Platinum Pacs got even the inside of the dishwasher squeaky clean!  Before I ran the cycle, that door had splattered spaghetti sauce on it.  All clear now.

Overall, we were very happy with the results of Cascade Platinum Pacs and they did prove to outdo our previous detergent!  No more pre-rinsing dishes for us so life just got a little easier :).
