It’s safe to say bath and body is my favorite beauty category. To me, there is something about a new body wash, shower gel, soap, or body lotion that pleases the soul. I’m big on aromatherapy so trying a new scent in the shower is one of my favorite things. I had the chance to try Crabtree & Evelyn English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Wash and Body Lotion and wanted to share my thoughts with you all.
The English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Wash was my favorite of these two products and is so moisturizing! Formulated with Peach Flower Extract, Honey Extract, Orange Peel Extract, Coconut Extract and more, this body wash is fragrant in a very “fresh garden” way. It smells most like real honey (not sugar or candy honey) with a bit of peach. While I use this in the shower, I have added it to my daughter’s bath water almost every day. She loves the bubbles and the beautiful fragrance. Also worth noting is that it contains no parabens and no phthalates.
The English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Lotion is also very nice, lightweight lotion and leaves skin quite soft and silky. However, for me the fragrance leans heavily toward honey and not much of the peach blossom scent comes through. I found the pure honey scent a bit overpowering compared to the body wash. I do notice the ingredients lists both Honey and Honey Extract so maybe that is the difference there. The lotion is also formulated with Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Peach Flower Extract, Orange Peel Extract and more. It all contributes to a hydrating lotion but the scent was too much for me personally. I can use the lotion on my legs and feet so the fragrance does not get directly to my nose! Those who love a true honey fragrance will fall in love with it.
Overall, I can tell you that I have truly enjoyed the English Honey and Peach Blossom Body Wash. While I do like the lotion, I found the honey scent overpowered this product for me. This collection also includes several other products as well.
