On April 30th, Cindy (my good friend and blog assistant) and I attended a cocktail reception to celebrate the unveiling of the renovated Drury Lane Oakbrook Terrace. The renovated ballroom and theater looked absolutely beautiful and each room was decorated to the nines. They really showed off the renovations! See all the photos on Facebook. Both Cindy and I had a wonderful time at the cocktail reception last month! We enjoyed fab appetizers, desserts, and drinks and snapped so many gorgeous photos.

Awww thanks! I can still remember every detail of my hair, dress, jewelry, everything. Wish I still had the dress, I FINALLY got rid of it about 13 years ago. Now it makes me sad I can’t show it to my daughter. There’s something about old clothing that I love. I feel like it holds memories :).
