Well, I’m WAY behind on this one but I did want to post my final thoughts on my very first June 2011 Birchbox.

The good people at Birchbox really spoiled me with my first box since it contained a full size Laura Geller blush! Here are my final thoughts:
Kate Spade Twirl – I’m VERY picky with any scents that I wear. Most often I will wear either the men’s versions (like Very Sexy for Men by Victoria Secret) or the Bath and Body Works sprays in a fresh type scent. I cannot wear many women’s perfumes because my nose is so sensitive and most of them just smell like alcohol to me or are too sweet. I did not care for Kate Spade Twirl because it just smelled like alcohol to me, no sweetness, just alcohol.
Laura Geller Baked Blush n Brighten – I fell in love with this beautiful blush the minute I saw it! The top half has a gorgeous golden tone that is my new favorite highlighter. The bottom half has pretty swirls of pink and gold and makes for a perfect blush. This product absolutely does what it says: Blush n Brighten! LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Nuxe Reve de Miel Body Cream – I thought this body cream was definitely on the luxurious side with a scent that is like vacation. Made with honey and macadamia nut oil, it is indeed very silky and not greasy at all. I liked it but it’s not something that I love enough to buy.
Sircuit Cosmeceuticals Molecular Mist – This is described as a “high-tech spray” and I think that is a good description. I used this “heavy water” spray on my face when the temps outside hit in the 90s and it felt fantastic! It has a scent that is like baby powder and coconut mixed. You can also use it to set makeup but I haven’t tried that since I am in love with my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray. This is not a product I would buy for myself since I feel like I have something like this that I’m happy with already.
Deborah Lippman Stripper to Go Nail Lacquer Removers – I was pretty excited to give these a try since I have read so much about Deborah Lippmann nail products. Each packet contains a small “mitt” that is drenched in polish remover. You put your finger in the little mitt to remove the polish. Each mitt is supposed to remove the polish on all 10 fingers. This product is probably fantastic for traveling but I don’t do a whole lot of that. By the time I got to my last finger, the mitt just didn’t have enough product to remove the last of my polish! These are not something that I would buy but as I said, these would be great for packing in your bag when you are on the go.
