As I have mentioned before, I love a brand with an inspiring message behind it and the newly-launched Haughty Cosmetics seeks to help a great cause. Founder Michelle Coyle gives 50% of the profits to domestic violence prevention education. That is something to be proud of. “Haughty’s mission is to empower women to feel beautiful inside and out.”
The first product launch consists of 10 beautiful lip glosses, all handmade with all-natural ingredients, paraben-free, and never tested on animals. Ingredients include jojoba oil, Vitamin E and Provitamin B5 to improve the condition of lips with each use. With names like “Break a Leg”, “Keep it Professional”, and “Get ‘Em”, these glosses promote beauty and intelligence!
I had the chance to try the Perfect Finish Lip Gloss shade Polish It Off, a neutral with a hint of glimmer. First, I really like the glamour girl packaging and the larger-sized applicator.
When I put on the gloss, it went on so smooth and silky. This is not a sticky or wet gloss, but soft and felt great on my lips.
After a few minutes, I could not feel the gloss on my lips and I liked it that way! I don’t always care for a gloss that has your lips sticking together and your hair getting stuck in it. Yes, there is definitely a time and a place for those “oh-so-sticky-and-wet-glossy-glosses”, but not every time. This is a great lip gloss and Polish It Off would be fabulous for everyday wear. There are definitely some nice bright colors in the collection as well, so I hope you will check out all the shades here.
