Keeping Up Healthy Habits with LISTERINE #Sponsored #MC

With a first grader and a second grader, our household is pretty busy during the school year and having a routine is essential for every day.  I will go ahead and pat myself on the back and tell you that getting (and keeping) my kids on a daily routine is kind of my specialty.  It truly does help both kids and adults to be consistent with everything from morning to evening tasks.  A very important part of our daily routine is oral care.  Both my kids know that we brush our teeth every singe morning and every single night.  As a family, I would like to improve on our rinsing and flossing habits, though.  We received some products from LISTERINE to improve on our oral care routine and truly become healthy habit heroes!

Over the past few years, my son has been prone to dental issues (broken tooth, major cavity out of nowhere, tooth extraction) and we have had to be EXTRA diligent with his oral hygiene habits.  Last year, the dentist recommended that we add a fluoride rinse after Ollie’s evening brushing.  He is such an easy-going kid, he took to it right away.  He even reminds me if I forget the step!

LISTERINE SMART RINSE ANTICAVITY FLUORIDE RINSE is perfect for Ollie and even features Marvel characters on the front.  He was so excited to try his new rinse!  I would like to get my daughter into the habit of using the rinse once a day as well.  This fluoride rinse for kids is alcohol-free, helps to prevent cavities and removes a lot of stuff that brushing can miss.  I’m all for steps that can potentially reduce our visits to the dentist!

Ruby tested out the LISTERINE SMART RINSE and she is typically NOT as easy-going as my son.  She doesn’t love rinsing just yet…but we’ll keep working on it :). #KeepingItReal  This is one of our challenges with keeping healthy habits and if we work on this every day, I know Ruby will come around.

As for me, I’m excited to add LISTERINE HEALTHY WHITE FLOSS to my daily routine.  While I have always been on task with brushing at least twice daily and rinsing with mouthwash at least once daily, I slack when it comes to flossing.  I know that as a mom I should lead by example and I really want to show my kids how important it is to take care of your teeth and gums.  My smile is one of my favorite features and I would like to preserve it for as long as possible.  LISTERINE HEALTHY WHITE FLOSS does not resemble the floss I have used in the past.  It is kind-of flat and has these cool micro-grooves for removing that nasty plaque and baking soda for whitening.  The minty flavor is pretty awesome, too!  This floss is designed to remove coffee, tea and wine stains , so as a coffee fanatic I really need it in my life.
