This Christmas, I asked Santa to bring me a milk frother to use with my Keurig. I wanted to make cappuccinos and other yummy coffee drinks at home. Santa obliged with an Aroma Hot Froth X-Press Milk Frother and I have been in coffee-drinking heaven ever since! It is so fun to make my drinks at home and cheaper than buying at a coffee shop. To make my favorite drinks you need espresso or strong-brewed coffee to start. Barista Prima Coffeehouse Columbia K-cups have been the perfect bold blend for my Chocolate Macchiato cravings!
Here’s the recipe found in my Aroma Hot Froth X-Press manual:
Aroma’s Favorite Chocolate Macchiato
1/3 mug brewed espresso (I substitute Barista Prima Coffeehouse Columbia)
1 full serving hot latte milk (made in my Aroma frother)
1 teaspoon chocolate syrup
Pinch cocoa powder
Using my Aroma frother, I froth my milk while my Keurig brews the Barista Prima coffee. I add sugar to my coffee, next the chocolate syrup, then add the milk leaving the froth behind. I add the froth, then you have layers of coffee (or espresso), milk and froth. I sprinkle a bit of Ghirardelli Premium Hot Cocoa (Chocolate Mocha flavor) on top. Perfection!
In less than 5 minutes I have a coffee-house drink at home. So delicious!
Barista Prima K-cups provided for editorial consideration, all other products were gifts from Santa.
Do you make coffee drinks at home?
Is it weird that I’m craving coffee at 11PM after reading this post? LOL
I make my coffee every morning. I only need one coffee a day, but I truly do need it! I got a Mukka Express mocha pot for Christmas, and I’ve been loving it! It doesn’t foam as well as what you can find in Starbucks, but I prefer coffee made with a mocha pot to the really diluted stuff anyways 😉

That looks wonderful! I love my Keurig and K-cups but I still have to get a Dutch Bros Grande Mocha every once in a while.
Of course I had to click this post from my inbox because I’m a coffee addict! This looks delish!!!!

Coffee addicts unite!! You should try it at home if you get the chance 🙂
This sounds so yummy. I have to say that Keurig is probably one of the best thing I’ve ever own. Making coffee has never been so easy.

Hi Angela! I have to agree, I got my Keurig for Christmas 2011 and I love it so. Now with the Keurig and frother I’m in heaven!
That looks so good. I normally make regular coffee at home an add a little coconut milk as a creamer. Anything fancier than that I usually get at Starbucks.
