MAY 16, 2011: So, it is after 3am PST and I still cannot even load the NYX website!! I have read countless tweets of people who have been up all night trying to shop with no luck, what a nightmare. There are some pretty ugly tweets still going on minute by minute. People are threatening to report them for false advertising and some people say they already have!
The last tweet from NYX does say this: “Our sale has spread faster than our gloves can reach! Thank you all and we are sorry to hear of those who have been unable to purchase as of yet. So for you all, we are offering a 50% off coupon code and free shipping throughout the week of May 16th through May 22nd. We will notify you of the code TOMORROW morning!”
Has ANYONE been able to purchase ANYTHING from the site for this sale??

2. What items will be on sale?
ALL individual items. NO SETS AND TRAIN CASES.
3. Is there FREE SHIPPING on purchases over $50?
No free shipping will be issued during this event.
4. What does it mean when you say “limited of 2 of the same item per customer”?
For example, you can purchase a maximum of 2 Single Eye Shadows in Taupe, but you can still buy another Single Eye Shadow in a different color. Just keep in mind that your maximum is 2 of each shade.
5. Will your team be able to respond to our inquiries during the sale?
YES! We’ll be on our Facebook page all day and night just to answer your questions!

Yes, I have not been able to load the website since before the sale began! NYX is supposed to be providing a discount code to be used all this week, something like 50% off, so we’ll see!
