Peter Thomas Roth’s Mega-Rich Body Collection

You may remember that I sang the praises of a few Peter Thomas Roth* face products recently.  Well, I’m back to give my thoughts on a few new items that I have sampled from the new Mega-Rich Body collection.

My certain favorite of the Mega-Rich body products is the Mega-Rich Body Wash.  First off, it has the scent that I fell in love with when I tried the Blemish Buffing Beads: like the freshest grapefruit of all grapefruits in the land.  The body wash has moisturizing beads that burst and release nourishing vitamins for softening your skin.  Those precious little beads were another reason I loved the Blemish Buffing Beads.  Can I just tell you that this body wash has the most luxurious lather I have ever encountered?  Yes, when you put this on your bath sponge the lather starts working and before you know it…it’s the lather that won’t quit!  You will be wrapped in a soft lather like being enveloped in a terry cloth robe.  It feels amazing and leaves your skin clean, soft, and fully moisturized.  The Mega-Rich Body Wash certainly lives up to its high-profile name.

The Mega-Rich Shampoo and Conditioner are both nice products but there just was not enough product in the 1 fl. oz. sample sizes to really evaluate these two in depth.  The shampoo is formulated with gentle cleansers and nourishing vitamins for healthy hair.  The conditioner is also packed with those vitamins and leaves your hair quite silky.  Both have an amazing, fresh fragrance that is heavenly.

The Mega-Rich Body Lotion is another luxurious addition to the body collection.  It has a lightweight feel, absorbs quickly into the skin and smells divine (same scent as the shampoo and conditioner).  It also lives up to its high-profile name and is “mega-effective” just as it claims.  The lotion is super-hydrating and never greasy which puts this lotion in the A+ category for me.  I have almost sworn off lotions since I started using body oils this year.  I just got tired of that greasy feel from heavy lotions.  The Mega-Rich Body Lotion could make me a lotion believer again!

Overall, the Mega-Rich Body collection has my general approval with the Mega-Rich Body Wash getting the award for Most Desirable Mega-Rich Product.  That’s right, I’m giving out awards now.  Peter, get your speech ready! 🙂
