Over the past several years, I have went through quite a few changes with my hair. Most notably, I have not put color in my hair in about 2 years. I just got tired of the lengthy process and upkeep. My Easy Routine for Sleek Hair
First, I typically apply a leave-in smoothing/thickening product to my wet hair. After blowdrying, I gather the top half of my hair and get to work straightening the bottom half of hair.
I love the size and weight of the NuMe straightener because it makes styling easy. The ⅞ inch is the perfect size for the length of my hair as well. The heat settings are 140 degrees to 450 degrees. This styler heats up in about 30 seconds for me, my usual setting is about 350 degrees.
After I’ve finished the bottom half of my hair, I work on the top half to get it sleek. One of my favorite tricks is to add some volumizing dry shampoo right under the top layer of my hair. This provides a bit of volume in the right places. The finished look takes me just under 10 minutes!
