Last year, I reviewed the Sheer Skin Tint by Liz Earle and was so impressed with the product it has become my absolute go-to foundation. With my latest skincare products being just about empty, it was time to get back to reviewing!
The Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser I’ve been testing is the 5 fl. oz. package with the perfect pump at the top (lid not pictured). It’s a more unique cleanser than most. It’s packed with ingredients like cocoa seed butter, rosemary and chamomile extract, and eucalyptus oil, includes a muslin cloth and a set of instructions.
Above is how the muslin cloth looks right out of the package. This cloth is very generously sized, larger than an average washcloth. Once you wet the cloth it so soft and feels great on the skin.
When using this product, I follow the instructions exactly as seen above. It’s unique in that you massage the cleanser onto a dry face. The Cleanse & Polish has the refreshing eucalyptus scent, just one of my favorite things about this product. The cleanser is thick, yet creamy and easy to massage around. That eucalyptus also has a nice cooling effect on your face, too.
Once I wet the muslin cloth with hot water and wring it out, I start at the top of my forehead and start the gentle polishing. This part reminds me of when you wax and buff a car! I use light circular motions, section by section, using a different part of the cloth as I work my way down the face. I do put this on my eyes but do not use it to remove makeup. Honestly, I want to keep the cloth looking its best and not have it covered in spots. When I tell you the polishing feels divine, I mean it! My face is in heaven during and after this Cleanse & Polish. Some cool water on the face afterwards and it’s complete.
I’ve been using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish twice daily and am incredibly happy with the results. It combines the best parts of a creamy (non-greasy) cleanser with natural ingredients and exfoliation. It has kept any breakouts from occurring on my oily skin, which is another of my favorite things. My skin looks healthy and glowing at all times. I look forward to my Cleanse & Polish twice daily as it really has a spa feeling to it. I do maintain the cloth as suggested (which is a must), hot water wash after about 3 uses and air dry. Super easy.
You can purchase Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser on LizEarle.com in a few different sizes, starting with a 1 fl. oz tube with 1 muslin cloth for only $9.00! I don’t see the 5 fl. oz size on the site, the one I have was actually a special edition from last year’s holiday season. As I said there a few different sizes to choose and I think the little starter set is incredibly inexpensive if you are curious about the product. I highly recommend it, another stellar item from Liz Earle!

Have you tried the Cleanse & Polish? If not, does it sound like something you might try? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts, I’d love to hear form you!
This sounds divine! I’ve never tried Liz Earle products but I may have to give this one a try. What kind of skin do you have (normal, dry, oily, combination)?
I’m 37 and have oily, acne-prone skin that (thankfully) has been under control for about the last few years. I experienced bad breakouts regularly all my life until after having kids! Now, I mostly just have to worry about my “mature” skin issues. I recommend this product 100%!
I do like the scent of eucalyptus. That is a different type of product thanks for the information on it.
